By Jim Gray Jon Jon Bryan finally takes me down in 2007. I'm fighting back for 2008.

Congrats to Jon Jon Bryan, Abc's production manager--the guy who watches the decks getting made and makes sure they come out right took out the boss in 2007. It's about time. So, it's sort of just an ongoing joke around here about who is going to get the most points in the Old Mans Bowlriding series for the year. Jon Jon is definitely a better skater than me in many ways, so every year I expect him to take me out, but for some reason, I managed to sqeak out more points in 2005 and 2006, but this year he took me out good. He got 6th place overall and I dropped to 14th.
That is extra rad seeing that so many more of us old guys we grew up competing against are now back out skating regularly and showing up to thrown down, so for Jon Jon to creep all the way up to 6th overall was an awesome feat.
He's gonna be working a lot of Sundays for a while and might not see his family much as I try to overwork him so he can't beat me quite so easy next year, but it's probably worth it to him just to get to gloat!!!!! Good Job Jon Jon!!!!! I am coming after you in 2008!!
