A Good Skateboard Starts With Good Wood
U.S.A. Hard Maple!!!!

Hanging out with some Maple Logs in Wisconsin, USA. They are on their way to take their first step in becoming a skateboard, wood floor, or maybe a cabinet :-). Amongst the Maple families, it is considered the highest honor to become a skateboard, especially a face grade which is the top of a deck. Other maple logs become woodfloors and are banished to a life of being stepped on. The ones that become cabinets are sentenced to a life of being slammed, but the ones who become skateboards hold their grains up high, because they get to go fast, do all sorts of tricks, and be ridden by people with a smile on their face. In my next life, I really hope to be a maple log--not!!
