Scarecrow Skateboards was created in the late 1900’s by the twisted mind of Professor Russ Pope. The B-Horror film based cult phenomenon coveted the fun and magic of riding a Skateboard.

Supporting the Blue Collar skateboarder was Scarecrow’s un-spoken motto which was reflected through its promotion of virtual un-knowns.

Strategically cast into the pro ranks, the team was quickly accepted by the masses and supported by die hard lifers and seekers of fun.

Names like Crazy Eddie, Joe Nemeth, and Thom Hornung graced the pages of skatemags and inspired the indie driven youth of the time.

More celebrated pro’s like Dorian Tucker and Jason Adams continued to push skateboarding in a stylish and creative direction.

Aesthetically, Scarecrow encompassed the “Fun in Death Scenario”, the b-film horror of yesteryear, timeless evil-cool, and the darkside of American Pop Culture. You gotta love it!!

Today, Scarecrow continues its tradition of quality from its American Made Product line to its diverse creative skate team. We promote skateboarding as a Life Long practice, a vehicle for creative expression—our way of life!!
